Red rivers, red dirt, blue skies...a quick trip up to the Pilbara
#1
Just home from an impromptu trip up to Karratha to visit our son for a few days. We haven't seen the Pilbara as green as this is a long time, with lots of water still around from Cyclone Veronica. A few of the rivers were running and the Ashburton was a good spot for a coffee break. The country was stunning.  On the way home we did an overnight detour into Shark Bay, camping the night at Whalebone Bay.  Do yourself a favour! Another detour saw us take Butchers Track out to Murchison Settlement for a reminisce. Great country. The Trayon was everything AND more.  So comfortable, so versatile, so perfect. We love it! We hope you enjoy some of the pics from our beautiful North West WA.
