Adelaide to Gladstone Qld

Went down to Adelaide to visit our new granddaughter and of course drove. We seen 5 Trayons, said hello to a couple in Broken Hill (number 322 I think!). Told them about the muster in September and this forum.

The rest where in WA as we flew over to see our middle son. I have to say the weather in Central Qld is much nicer this time of year.

I couldnt go away and just drive on bitumen so came home through Marree, spent the first night watching the sun set over Lake Eyre
   

   

Then back into Maree and up the Birdsville track

We stopped halfway up for lunch, what vehicle would you buy? one just more slightly used!
   
   
We stayed overnight in Birdsville
   
and went for a play out on the dunes the next day
   
Then up to Jundah and camped on the Mitchell River, then Emerald and home.
   
Did 5,880km over the 3 weeks and got the car and camper a little dirty.
